Using a surface pro 8 running windows 10 pro. What is everyone using for interfaces? right now the stereo amp blue tooths to the surface pro and I tether the surface pro to my phone for internet. Then I just use the apps to play music or get directions,
A long time ago I had a permanent PC in a car and I used RR with skins to navigate around music, movies, gps. Is that not a thing anymore?

On this particular site, I would guess most people here are using DriveLine for music, movies, etc, since it is still somewhat maintained. I think pretty much every other UI or front-end was abandoned by the time that tablets were becoming popular.

I know this sounds stupid, but...what is DriveLine? (Before I go warm up my Googles). From another thread here, you'll see I'm a LONG time ago returning Centrafuse user. This Wn10pro thread sounds pretty similar to my wanting to stay with X86 ITX hardware and Windows with it's hibernate, etc. My setup is still going strong, but I worry that when I finally lose this "about seven years ago" Win8.1pro, AMD AM1 AsRock board...or the hard drives, that I better have something else going to connect to a 7" Lilliput HDMI touchscreen.

Driveline is another CarPC interface like RoadRunner, Centrafuse, etc It is the CarPC interface programmed and maintained by COMpulse. All the other interfaces seem to have been abandoned.
