This is not realy a worklog, just a tablet install in an E450 cubevan on demo. The tablet is a winmate 10.1" ips screen, cherrytrail, 4gigram, 64gig ssd, usb3, u-Blox GPS, Sierra Wireless 4g, gorilla glass, Bluetooth 4.0, capacitive multi-touch, win7 pro But fully win 10 compatable. Running Driveline and Co-pilot Live v9 Truck. They are not a cheap tablet but a top of the line industrial tablet. The docking station provides secure 12v power connection that gets wired into vehicle ( I am using the cig lighter attachment for demo) 2 usb-2 and 2 usb-3, RJ-45 jack, real 9 pin com port and external GPS antenna sma connector which is only enabled when in dock. If not in dock it uses the built in antenna in tablet.

That's pretty clean for a "portable" installation!
Kind of mind boggling when you look at an old work log from 10 years ago and see a tower in a trunk with a large power inverter running it and knowing it had a fraction of the capability of this.

Ha! Isn't it amazing how far things have come? My first install was a laptop in the trunk on a docking station running Media Engine.
