I am going to start refreshing my trucks carputer. I currently have 2 options I am looking at. 1 is an i3 8gig ram 64gig ssd in a ruggedized case or I just ordered the Odyssey SBC I will still be using DL as front-end along with my all-in-one box for OBD2,TPMS,Parking sensors, GPS and Phidget 1010. Currently rebuilding the front end suspension, new brakes and new boots. Updates will follow. SNO twintower.homeip.net/ultrack/i3-4100u.pngtwintower.homeip.net/ultrack/odyssey.jpg

Well I have gone with the enclosed i3 box in my truck build. I have another project in mind for the odyssey. I have the drivers side wired and positioned. I have this under the rear seat in a nice cubby with melamine base, sides and front. Not seen in this pic is the Logitech x540 sub powered by a DC-DC power supply running at 14.8v to power the speakers. I did a tutorial on making the Logitech x540 dc powered (I will try and find and post it) The cap is to eliminate any popping from amp on powerup/shutdown. I use the Diamond 7.1 usb sound box and its sitting on top of the Directed HD radio module. PCtoTV is for 14" rear seat overhead monitor that's just a composite in basic unit. Ram-Mount tough hub fully populated with Roxio EasyCap for rear view camera, dinovo wireless keyboard adapter, DC-DC usb programming input, MJS HD radio usb cable. It's funny how many USB ports you end up using for a CarPC build I have 13 going and 1 to spare. XM radio using com port 1 on the i3 box. Network cable goes to my 3/4g wifi router. I prefer hardwire for computer and leave the wifi for phones, tablets whatever. My ver 2.0 of my all-in-one box running Phidget 1010 board 8 analog 16 digital input/outputs, Scantool STN1170 for OBD2, AVE TPMS, Robby's front and rear parking distance sensors and sparkfun GPS breakout neo8. Just need to finish the wiring to the 10 position fuse box. SNO twintower.homeip.net/ultrack/image/rightside_done.jpg

SNO, are you testing us? You reference a pic, but I don't see one.
In the immortal words of Roger Waters... "Is there anybody out there?"

Yes, now I see a link. I don't believe it was there before. But maybe I'm going crazy...
