I just contacted the store to ask how they can support their products without the forum which had all the installation, configuration and programs for them. I was interested in getting the TPMS kit to go with my RR build but without access to the forum thread on it I think it could be too difficult a task to get it going.

We can support the tpms kit, just I would think those sensors might be an old stock if they have any left. Really if you want tpms your best bet now is with the AVE kit. Unfortunately only Driveline has support for the AVE kit. Maybe E might want to tackle the RR conversion since I have the protocol document. SNO

Also some sample data, other than what has already been made available would be nice. Oh and an extra 2 hours in the day please.

If they didn't want to keep the forum going because of lack of traffic it makes you wonder why they wouldn't pass on all the data for anyone else willing to host it. Not like they would have anything planned for it.

Possibly he was concerned a new web site, with that data, would start up and become quite successful...that would just point out the shortcomings of the way it was ran for the last few years.

Man am I glad to have found this forum! I put my projects on hold for over a year due to life stuff and just found out mp3car forums are gone!! I also wish I had found this forum before I purchased the TPMS kit.
I always had my eye on it and saw it on sale on their amazon store so bought it and put it aside for when I had to replace my tires. Well replaced my tires installed the sensors.... and found no support for the software when it came time to install it!!! I saw the RRplugin for it on this site, hopefully that contains the software/drivers for it too.
But man am I worried now about it being old stock. I didn't realize TMPS sensors were "always" on when I purchased it. I hope they have a few years life still left in them.

Hi jarloki you can get that kit to work still, using the RR stuff or Driveline has support built in for both the robby tpms kit and the AVE tpms serial device. If you need help just ask SNO
